Sueño Americano is a play inspired by Life is a Dream (Calderon), in which we see a Segismundo, no longer in the ivory tower, but trapped in a cement tower, in a one-room apartment, like the thousands of apartments in the capital. In this captivity, Segismundo dreams of dreams of love, success and failure, he dreams of the dream of a country, inherited dreams and nightmares, an American dream that smells much more like the country of the north, than a country of the south at the end of the world. This show was presented in Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
