POSTCARDS TO REMEMBER

Written and Directed by MANUEL ORTIZ

Chile and Spain, 2021

The show tells the story of Lucia, a 45-year-old woman with early-onset Alzheimer's. Faced with the loss of her memories and her life, Lucia decides to record a series of videos to remember the things she doesn't want to forget: her daughter, her lovers, her country; but more importantly, to not forget that when there are no more memories, life is no longer worth living. Every night Lucia hides in the bathroom of her house while her partner and son sleep. These videos are the parts of her life that she needs to remember. These videos are her postcards to not forget. This show was presented in Chile and Spain.
